Meditation Sitting


Sitting to meditate, we hope to settle in, focus our attention, and relax. Instead, what we often encounter is discomfort, distraction, and even pain. In this workshop, we will practice the principles of easy, balanced sitting through the Feldenkrais Method of somatic education. Stop struggling or "holding still," transform your posture—"acture," as Moshe Feldenkrais called it—and develop a sustainable practice that improves, in one sense or another, with every sitting.
